In the first quarter of 2025, the top navigation and maps applications on iOS in the Dominican Republic showed varied performance trends, as revealed by Sensor Tower data.

Google Maps maintained a steady increase in weekly downloads, peaking at approximately 10.4K mid-February. The app's weekly active users also saw fluctuations, starting from around 51.7K at the beginning of January and ending at 47.4K by the end of March.

Waze Navigation & Live Traffic experienced a decline in weekly downloads, starting at 2.6K and dropping to 2K by the end of the quarter. However, weekly active users showed a significant increase, beginning at 142.2K and reaching 171.3K by the end of March.
